We all have the potential to fall for them and become victims. They take the form of online scams, mail solicitation and people actually knocking on your door. The one fact they all have in common is they can be prevented.

Scammers don’t discriminate when trying to steal information. They are out for anything that can get them cash. They will rip out your heart to solicit money for victims of “insert whatever the latest news story is“.

Stay up to date and be informed on the latest scams that the Federal Trade Commission is tracking by signing up with Scam Alerts. Their resource for searching the latest scams and getting information quickly is valuable, it will let you be notified when a Scam is underway. Responsible for seniors? Make sure you know what the latest scam is so you can help protect your loved ones.
